Homestay And Volunteer American (HAVA)
This is a short course that will really get you to use your English! Students come on a tourist visa for 4-8 weeks. They stay in an American Homestay, attend some of our morning classes, and work in volunteer positions in the afternoon. Meeting real locals, using your language skills, and getting real practice make this a useful program. HAVA is not a program for beginning English speakers.
You must have a good working command of English. Students have worked in real estate offices, beauty salons, hardware stores, schools, libraries, museums, farms, and much more. Contact us to see what is available or if you have a special request.
